Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

PrintShark ("PrintShark", "we", "us", or "our") is an AI print-on-demand studio for Etsy sellers, operated by Pallette Gallery. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. PrintShark connects to your Etsy shop via OAuth and to Printify, and it uses third-party AI providers to generate designs and copy. By using PrintShark, you agree to the practices described here.

2. Information we collect

We collect only what we need to provide and improve the service:

• Account information. Your name and email address when you create an account.
• Waitlist email. If you join our waitlist, the email address you submit so we can notify you at launch.
• Etsy data (via OAuth). When you connect your Etsy shop, we access the shop and listing data needed to operate the service — for example creating, updating, and managing listings on your behalf. We request only the scopes required for these features.
• Printify data (via OAuth/API). Product, mockup, and fulfillment data needed to create products and route orders through your print provider.
• Content you generate. Prompts, generated artwork, mockups, titles, tags, and descriptions created within PrintShark.
• Usage data. Basic technical and usage information — such as actions taken in the app, device and browser type, and log data — to keep the service running and to improve it.

3. How we use your information

We use the information above to:

• Provide the core service — discover trends, generate designs and SEO copy, and queue or publish listings to your Etsy shop after your review.
• Create products and mockups and route fulfillment through Printify.
• Authenticate you and keep your account secure.
• Communicate with you about your account, the waitlist, and launch or service updates.
• Monitor, maintain, debug, and improve PrintShark.
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Third-party services

PrintShark relies on trusted third-party services to provide its features. When you use the relevant feature, the data needed for that feature may be shared with the applicable provider, subject to their own terms and privacy policies:

• Etsy API — to connect your shop and manage listings on your behalf.
• Printify API — to create products and mockups and route fulfillment.
• OpenAI — to help generate artwork and/or copy.
• Google Gemini — to help generate artwork and/or copy.
• FAL — to help generate images.

These providers process data only to deliver the requested feature. We encourage you to review each provider's privacy policy to understand how they handle data.

5. Data storage & security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse — including encryption in transit and access controls on sensitive data such as OAuth tokens. No method of transmission or storage is ever 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to safeguard your data and to limit access to what is necessary to operate the service.

6. OAuth tokens

When you connect Etsy or Printify, we store the resulting OAuth access tokens securely, on a per-shop basis. We use these tokens only to act on your behalf within the service — for example, to manage your listings or create products — and never to access anything beyond the granted scopes. You can revoke PrintShark's access at any time from your Etsy or Printify account settings, or by contacting us, after which we will no longer be able to act on your behalf and will delete the associated tokens.

7. Cookies & local storage

PrintShark uses cookies and similar browser storage to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and understand how the service is used. Please note that on this marketing site, the waitlist sign-up is a demo: the email you enter is stored locally in your own browser (using your browser's local storage) and is not transmitted to a server. You can clear it at any time by clearing your browser's site data.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights over your personal information, including the right to access, correct, export, or delete it, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@printshark.studio and we'll respond in accordance with applicable law. You can also revoke connected-account access (Etsy or Printify) at any time.

9. Data retention

We keep personal information only for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When you close your account or revoke access, we delete or anonymize associated data within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain it by law.

10. Children's privacy

PrintShark is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of PrintShark after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
